This morning's heart-numbing news..... "Iraq Blast Kills 9 GIs, Injures 20 At Outpost." A suicide bomber rammed an explosives-rigged truck into a U.S. military outpost near Baqubah in one of the deadliest single ground attacks on U.S. forces since the start of the war in Iraq.
Where's the national day of mourning for these brave troops? Where's the Griever-in-Chief who showed up for a photo op after the Virginia Tech killings?
Is Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) going to commemorate the fallen by singing his "joke" about "bomb, bomb, bomb Iran"..... while supporting The Decider's "surge" and "stay the course" in Iraq's killing fields?
Enough. Enough heroes dying trying to rescue The Decider's sorry place in history. Enough power-driven politicians using the sacrifice of the fallen on the campaign trail.
Tell the Iraq government that we've done our part, now they must do theirs. By a date certain.
