You made your bed with Obama now lie (pun intended) in it. More government and more of my hard earned dollars down the shitter. You hate Bush because of what he stands for and that is our country being safe and we the people running the government not the government running us. Enjoy the higher taxes and sleeping with one eye open, thanks to Obamas foreign policies. P.S. it's harder to look at you because you cat at least can't vomit out the same nonsense as you.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22453375.post-58061635836872452582009-01-21T07:21:00.000-06:002009-01-21T07:21:00.000-06:00I think you're a bit over-optimistic. For one thin...I think you're a bit over-optimistic. For one thing, neo-con radicalism is not a dead ideology and it won't be a dead ideology until its doings are all undone, taken apart, dissected, their various components held up to public scrutiny and shown to the public for exactly what they are.

Obama says he will not undertake the investigations and prosecutions necessary to such work. The American people will thus be left in the dark as to how close we came (and still ARE) to a fascist dictatorship. The perps will go unpunished, the two-tiered justice system they built will be left intact and their ideology (snarling, growling, momentarily defeated but alive and well) crouches in a dark corner of the political landscape, prepared to strike again. You can call it defeated when people no longer listen to Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter, and the rest of the hate merchants.

For another thing, I've watched in utter dismay while Obama built his cabinet with rotten lumber. The people he's chosen to work with belong to the same gang of morons who who planned and presided over the wreck of America that partisans like you are so eager to blame on Bush. I think you had better prepare yourself for more of the same with a new face on it, and marketed with a new line of bullshit. In 2000, Bush called for a new era of accountability in government. See what he gave us. In Obama's innaugural address, he called for a new era of responsibility.

Jimmy sez: See what we're going to get before you pitch a rhetorical party.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
