Deafening Silence and Chants

The Decider's campaign tour is one big pep rally, "Go GOP Go......Keeeeeeep Power." Followed by loud cheers from the faithful.

But when it comes to transparency in government, mum's the word.... "U. S. Seeks Silence on CIA Prisons.... Court Is Asked to Bar Detainees From Talking About Interrogations."

Shameful isn't it.

Of course, the administration cloaks their request that terrorism suspects held in secret CIA prisons not be allowed to reveal details of the "alternate interrogation methods" in scare rhetoric alleging "they are among the nation's most sensitive national security secrets." (WaPo)

What are they really afraid of revealing, torture? Why else keep their "methods" secret?

But The Decider is putting on a happy face for his hand-picked loudly-cheering GOP ditto-heads as "Bush Blasts Democrats During Missouri Visit." Our Commander in Fief is "on a 10-state blitz to save his congressional majorities -- and essentially the remainder of his presidency".... jetting to the dwindling number of places where he'll do the least harm.

But even with hand-picked GOP boosters his reception can be.... well, sobering. At his LeMars, Iowa rally someone in the crowd held up a sign that said "Impeach." The Decider's supporters quickly pulled it down, and then, "following instructions given before the rally for how to drown out hecklers, volunteers started chanting 'USA! USA!' "

So, will the electorate "stay the curse," or reject the GOP slogans and chants, ending the GOP secretive, corrupt and lawless approach to governing.

November 7, VOTE!

I think this is balderdash. The Democrats have been very corrupt for years and years. What you must realize is that the Republicans are the party of the Caucasian people and once they are out of power the country will give even more and more freebies to undeserving minorities who believe they are owed things "just because". Vote Republican and Save America from destruction.

If the GOP is the "Caucasian" party, then why was it the Bush administration policy to give amnesty (and taxes breaks, and fradulently accrued Social Security benefits) to illegal aliens?

And why did two border agents trying to detain a drug dealer get long prison sentences from GOP federal prosecutors?

Guess you don't know about the Bush/Fox plan for a North American Union.... the only way to save the U.S. from cultural, fiscal and moral destruction is to vote out the GOP corporate-oil-church mafia.

Do-It-Yourself Impeachment, no joke.
The Citizens' movement.

The day the nation demands impeachment is upon us. Sacks and sacks of mail are arriving in congress demanding impeachment via the House of Representative's own rules. This legal document is as binding as if a State or if the House itself passed the impeachment resolution (H.R. 635).

There's a little known and rarely used clause of the "Jefferson Manual" in the rules for the House of Representatives which sets forth the various ways in which a president can be impeached. Only the House Judiciary Committee puts together the Articles of Impeachment, but before that happens, someone has to initiate the process.

That's where we come in. In addition to the State-by-State method, one of the ways to get impeachment going is for individual citizens like you and me to submit a memorial., part of the movement to impeach the president, has created a new memorial based on one which was successful in impeaching a federal official in the past. You can find it on their website as a PDF.

You can initiate the impeachment process yourself by downloading the memorial, filling in the relevant information in the blanks (your name, state, etc.), and sending it in. Be a part of history.
