Will Bush or Iran Torpedo U.S.?

While the nation was being distracted by the push toward a Mexi-merica; and a tarnished Rep. Tom DeLay (R-TX) got the "Here's your hat and hammer...what's the rush?" from Pres. Bush; and the Deputy Press Secretary for Homeland Security got busted for being an Internet little-girl-stalking security risk; and a swan died from bird flu in Scotland........tensions are reaching a tipping point with Iran.

According to the American Forces Press Service, Iran "feasibly" has been busy developing a new sonar-dodging, hyper-speed underwater "missile torpedo" which they tested during recent military exercises in the Persian Gulf area accompanied by lots of saber rattling.

Meanwhile, the Washington Post reported that U.S. Intelligence and terrorism experts say Iran might respond to a U.S. strike against them by deploying operatives and Hezbollah teams to inflict worldwide death and destruction.

Substitute "weapons of mass destruction" for "missile torpedoes" and "Saddam is cooperating with al Queda" for "Iran would deploy Hezbollah teams" .........sound familiar?

If the U.S. ship goes down, it likely won't be from a Star Wars Iranian torpedo, but from the policy holes the Bush administration has shot into every part of our country's superstructure.
