Bush Squeaks as Illegals Roar

In a perfect example of "too little, too late," President Bush said yesterday that "The Star-Spangled Banner" should be sung in English, not Spanish. He condemned plans by some immigrant groups to stage a work protest on May 1 over congressional efforts to crack down on illegal immigration.

His remarks are much too little....and much too late for the Monday's gathering of lawbreakers and their supporters.

The homeland invaders have already seen the Bush administration's lack of will to protect our borders and ports. They've already heard his amnesty plan for illegals. They look at their lawbreaking activities as their right, and demand the full benefits of citizenship.

Ponder this headline: "Why Muslims must join America's growing immigration movement."

The message: "Muslims who were undocumented [after 9/11], whether as workers, students or in any other capacity, became subject to many of these harsh tactics....even having an expired visa became an excuse for many Muslim men to be subjected to detainment and subsequent deportation. Undocumented status became a handy reason to punish Muslims...."

This is the Council of Islamic Organizations of Greater Chicago (CIOGC) Web site urging Muslims to join the May 1 "let's bring the U.S. to it's knees" protest demonstrations.

The illegal aliens in our country have been emboldened by the Bush administration and Congress.

It'll take a lot more than Bush platitudes to quell this takeover by homeland invaders.

It'll take strong enforcement of our laws....something the Bush administration has been loathe to do unless it penalizes the fast-disappearing and taxpaying middle-class U.S. citizens.

Bush and Congress, your legitimate electorate is watching....November is coming!
